The phone is the school’s second office.

After fees are collected, parents call to ask whether the payment was written down. After bills go out, they call to ask the amount. The person at the desk repeats numbers that are already on the student.

Handing a parent the whole school’s list is not an answer. They should see their child, and they should not be able to change a due or a mark.

The school can send a payment confirmation, a bill notice, a due reminder, a short school notice, or the parent sign-in link. Messages use the parent number already on the student.

Their child. Nothing they can edit.

A parent signs in with the mobile number on the record and a one-time code. They can open the ledger, bills, receipts, attendance, and progress report. They cannot change them.

The boundary

The message does not become a second register.

SMS tells the parent what the office already recorded. The parent view shows the same figures. If a number is wrong, it is corrected on the student, not in a chat that nobody filed.
