Teachers enter marks once. The progress report, the rank list, and what a parent can see come from those marks — not from a sheet rebuilt the night before.

Marks live in a teacher’s notebook. The report is typed again. A total is wrong, a name is missed, and the rank is argued because two sheets do not match.
Monthly attendance for the report is yet another copy, separate from the class register, and nobody is sure which one the printed card used.

Unit tests and term exams are configured for the school. A teacher opens the class, finds the child, and enters the mark. A long class can be searched instead of scrolled past.

The report
The progress report is not retyped.
What was entered is what prints. Rank for the class comes from the same exam. A parent who is allowed to see the report sees that paper, not a different set of numbers.
